CLASSICAL BALTICS

Day 1
- Arrival at Vilnius International Airport;
- Transfer to hotel;
- Welcome drink.

Day 2
Vilnius - Trakai. After breakfast a sightseeing tour of the delightful Vilnius old town with its unique narrow alleys and winding streets, including a variety of magnificent old churches. Because of its uniqueness, the Old Town of Vilnius was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In the afternoon departure to Trakai, the former capital of Lithuania with its amazing lake castle in the middle of Lake Galve.

Day 3
Vilnius - Druskininkai - Kaunas. First stop at Grutas Park, an attractive open air museum with a special exhibition of Soviet monumental sculptures that reflects Soviet propaganda culture and ideology. Then continue to Druskininkai, a beautiful old Soviet SPA town, set amongst pine forest and famous for its springs. A chance to have a curative „mud bath" before departure to Kaunas for overnight.

Day 4
Kaunas - Klaipeda. After breakfast a sightseeing tour of Kaunas old town, visiting the ruins of the 13th century castle and the town hall.
In the afternoon - departure to Klaipeda. On the way - Orvidai Homestead Museum - this is a creature of human fantasy and nature's immensity. Many stone sculptures and various compositions by Kazimieras and Vilius Orvidai attract tourists to this homestead for several decades already. Overnight in Klaipeda.

Day 5
Klaipeda - Curonian Spit. An entire day for exploring a wonderful Curonian Spit National park. Overnight in Nida.

Day 6
Palanga - Riga. After breakfast a trip to charming seaside resort of Palanga and visit to botanical gardens and Amber museum.
Later a visit to the Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, a hillock covered in more than 200,000 crosses and a symbol of Lithuanian nationalism and Christianity, before finishing the day in Riga. Overnight in Riga.

Day 7
Riga. After breakfast a walking tour. In Afternoon - a free time for exploring Riga on your own.

Day 8
Riga - Parnu - Tallinn. A Trip to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, via Parnu town, with its museums and galleries. A free afternoon for exploring Tallinn. Overnight in Tallinn.

Day 9
Tallinn. In the morning - a sightseeing of the old city while exploring the cobbled streets, medieval walls, turrets and narrow alleyways. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 10
Tallinn - Tartu - Sigulda. A travel to the old town of Tartu where you will have time to explore Toomemagi (Cathedral Hill) with its imposing Gothic Cathedral and the classical architecture of the Town Square.
Continue back to Latvia via the old town of Cesis where you will have time to visit Castle Park before continuing to Sigulda. Overnight in Sigulda.

Day 11
Sigulda - Siauliai. Sigulda is on the edge of a beautiful valley covered in forest with many trails snaking through it. You will have a plenty of time to explore before transferring to Kurtuvenia Regional Park in Lithuania, an area of lakes, forests and hills. You will have the chance to explore by foot, bike or horse. Overnight in Siauliai.

Day 12
Aukstaitija National Park - Vilnius. A Trip to the Aukstaitija's National park, an exquisite landscape of pine forest, streams, old villages and perfect blue lakes. A definite highlight of the tour! Overnight in Vilnius.

Day 13
Vilnius. After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Vilnius International Airport for your flight home.
